In a world birthed by primordial dragons, grown by hands that can take wing or quill, a Blight has taken root in the land and all that lives there that threatens to undo all the magick this world thrives on. Vampires were supposed to be something you read about in romance novels, curled up on your couch, making you feel single. They were not supposed to be something bursting into your apartment at 3am, screaming bloody murder and vengeance. And they definitely were not supposed to be something that stalked your every move, until you finally snapped and demanded to know what was going on. Tossed into a world of prophecies and supernatural beings, Rev struggles to find a foothold in her ever changing world. After accidentally raising the dead, killing her restaurants' contractor, and making some terrible garlic bread, Rev doesn't think it could get any worse. However, the vampire that's hunting her down, and the other trying to get her to save the world, seem determined to prove her wrong.

But on the way back home, they were suddenly ambushed by a purse snatcher as he stabbed Nathan as his arm suddenly yanked off. And as the purse snatcher ran off in fear, Nathan was revealed to be a zombie who had somehow survived from an accident as he was then suddenly alive. Sometime later, Flora has got into an accident as she was hit by a car. But a ghostly spirit appears and chases the ones responsible away in terror as it then resurrected her while Nathan saw the whole thing. While in the hospital, she told him the whole story that she was born a witch and must keep it secret from humans. Now, Flora and Nathan must explore the domestic complications and navigate social expectations of a zombie and a witch dating each other while falling in love for each other. ~All characters (except OC) belong to Obsidian Lantern~
