Kai Tensen's life ends in a freak accident, only for him to wake up as a newborn in a completely different world filled with magic, danger, and a "System" providing him with information and secrets of the world. But his second chance at life takes a deadly turn when he discovers the truth: he's the first necromancer in over 500 years, and the world will do anything to see him destroyed. Hunted by the fanatical Inquisition, Kai must outwit bounty hunters, corrupt mages, and even gods themselves to survive. As Kai's strength grows, so does the danger. Each step into his newfound powers tests his humanity, forcing him to confront questions of loyalty, betrayal, and the cost of his ambition. But with whispers of a divine conspiracy and ancient relics that could shatter the gods' control, Kai realizes his fight isn't just for survival. It's for revolution. In a world that brands him a monster, Kai vows to outlive his supressors. If they want a villain, he'll give them one. The gods called him a curse and the church called him evil, but he'll prove he's their reckoning. Death is only the beginning. -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- Author's Note: I can only post a limited number of chapters here, since the rest are part of a contract with Webnovel. If you kill a deity who has the ability to time travel, is he really gone? This is a short story about a god of the arts, known as Horti, and their former, evil counterpart, Hul. It could have been much longer but as it involves time travel that'd just have made it even more confusing than it is already. To properly understand Horti and Hul and their backgrounds, I recommend reading The Seventh God and The Biggest Sacrifice. To understand more about the Lethan empire and Khicholler, read Khicholler, Philanderer, Father, Liar. The significance of all of the story entries might escape readers who haven't also familiarised themselves with some of my other characters and stories. The story does contain some swearing and references to death but isn't gratuitous, I don't think, and so I've not marked it as mature, however I'm happy to be corrected by my readers.

"You guys aren't going to budge on this, are you? You- you don't even have a proper boat, there's none of the cannons or anything. Contrary to what seems to be popular belief, it's hard breaking laws after so many years of running a benevolent kingdom. You guys know about where the empires are, and free trade agreements, and the structural integrity of certain buildings, not whatever it is you're planning." "So what?" Joel said, seemingly taking on the brunt of this debate. "We can, I dunno, steal treasure from the abandoned empires. We know where all their stuff is anyway, so hah, take that-" There was a pause. A realization shared among all three in the conversation, if you will. Not quite a lull, per se-this is something that would be marked in a script, that would be etched into history, that would seal their fates in aptly said teasing words. "Joel," began Lizzie, "Did you just come up with a near-flawless plan to become pirates?" He seemed to consider this. Looked to Jimmy, offered him a shit-eating grin. "Sorry, lad. I think you just led us right to a solution." - OR; Joel & Lizzie decide that they're best suited for a life at sea. An old friend from years past (it's only been a month or two) makes a treacherous deal with forces he doesn't understand. From their graves, ghosts of past empires arise. When present grudges and future feuds stir the pot, will our valiant heroes make it out alive? Oh, and also... there are hot women. Lots of them. Trust me. - hi all! this is essentially a sequel to High Tide, another book I have in my library- this is set to be a bit more epic though, I have a notebook's worth of planning! if you've not read it, this will make very little sense. still, welcome!

A young alchemist turns to dark magic when a deadly plague sweeps through her homeland in this epic fantasy from New York Times bestselling author Beth Revis. Seventeen-year-old Nedra Brysstain leaves her home in the rural, northern territories of Lunar Island to attend the prestigious Yugen Academy with only one goal in mind: master the trade of medicinal alchemy. A scholarship student matriculating with the children of Lunar Island's wealthiest and most powerful families, Nedra doesn't quite fit in with the other kids at Yugen. Until she meets Greggori "Grey" Astor. Grey is immediately taken by the brilliant and stubborn Nedra, who he notices is especially invested in her studies. And that's for a good reason: a deadly plague has been sweeping through the north, and it's making its way toward the cities. With her family's life--and the lives of all of Lunar Island's citizens--on the line, Nedra is determined to find a cure for the plague. Grey and Nedra grow close, but as the sickness spreads and the body count rises, Nedra becomes desperate to find a cure. Soon, she finds herself diving into alchemy's most dangerous corners--and when she turns to the most forbidden practice of all, necromancy, even Grey might not be able to pull her from the darkness.

her·o·ine noun \ˈher-ə-wən, ˈhir-, ˈhe-rə-\ : a woman who is admired for great or brave acts or fine qualities : the chief female character in a story, play, movie, etc. Full Definition of HEROINE 1 a : a mythological or legendary woman having the qualities of a hero b : a woman admired and emulated for her achievements and qualities 2 a : the principal female character in a literary or dramatic work b : the central female figure in an event or period You know how they say that being a hero isn't inborn, its a trait? Well, those who said that don't have my blood. So either i'm a character in a dramatic and chaotic story, or I'm an unfortunate individual expected to step up on every opportunity that a hero is needed- well, a heroine. I didn't choose this life, given a chance i would leave and start over, but like i said, no one has my blood- or the craziness that runs in my family. So yeah, I'm the heroine that needs to save the world, from what you ask? Humans in war would be a walk in the park, zombies and aliens would be work out... what am out to get is greater. Demons, devils and fallen angels. Now if only they aren't after me too- i'd be done by 5pm.
