After her family is torn away from her and she is forced to live on the streets, Sparroe is discovered by the remaining shells of the elite, the Night People. I was set to loose one of them which would be the turning point of my life, not for the worse since my life already sucked more than a vacuum at full speed, but for the better. " Jamie was someone who enjoyed the little things in life, like fresh sheets, opening a new book, the night sky, puddles, early morning sun and the small flowers that grew by the road. It's what kept her sane when her life came crashing down, she focused on the small things, embraced change and took it upon herself to create her own happiness, even though it might be as small as seeing the sun rise on a Monday morning before school.

Samantha is the biggest nerd in her school and when a new student named Chris joins her school, the two fight over who will be the more popular nerd.
