when your a kid and your family splits you can't really pick which side to choose you usually are battled over as if you was property this was the same for jazz as at the age of 15 his parents split and they had a custody battle which lead to him been taken by his mom from Kalos to galar. But why did there family split well it was because jazz been the oldest was expected to find the girl for him and to marry then and have children so that his fathers PokeBall business will need a future but there's one part of that plan that made jazz uncomfortable 'girl' jazz doesn't have feelings for girls and this lead to an argument.
