The story is an alternate timeline and universe where Sophie and Keefe meet under very different circumstances than in the books. The events and character interactions in this story do not follow the canon timeline and is my separate take on the kotlc world.

He turned towards her side of the bed, snaked his arms around her waist, and slide his leg between hers, kissing the back of her neck lightly until she started to wake. She hummed with a smile as she turned in his arms to look at him, "Early riser are we?" He smiled and placed a small kiss on her forehead before replying. Sophie was distraught she sat alone in her bedroom thinking about if he wouldn't have run away if not for her. The black swan checks on Sophie only to find that her mind is broken. Sophie foster is crumbling under the pressure of the black swan. The Neverseen took over the council and destroyed everything. the refugees all look to her as a savior but she is not. she wants to be free, so she escapes to the forest to practice her powers. even though she has a restrictor on. her Telepathy Polyglot, Inflicting Teleporing Enhancer, and her new power that combines Pyrokinetics and a shade's power. She tells no one about all her powers. she was supposed to only have 5 instead of 7. but despite of the hardship she masters all of them. along with many fighting styles. She must survive to fight. she will survive
