Annabelle Hartz was born with snow-white hair and icy-blue eyes, with soft, pale skin. But the world would never let her forget those features, especially her white hair. Cruel names. Cold stares. Isolation. But her parents, Daisy Hartz and Liam Hartz, loved her for the way she was. How beautiful and delicate she looked, "My little snowdrop," they used to say.
A tragic car accident, however, left Annabelle's parents both dead. Her Aunt and Uncle, Clara Edith and James Edith, decided to take her in and care for her.
After the move, a new home and a new high school. Annabelle wanted to have a quiet life, where there was no bullying, just hanging out with friends and learning what she needed to learn.
So she decided to wear a wig for the first day of school, a brown wig, so she could fit in and look more like her parents (her mother had brown hair and green eyes, while her father had black hair and blue eyes). No more bullying. No more Drama. And a quiet life ahead at Annabelle's new school.
But then Annabelle bumps into Aaron without her wig outside of school. Aaron is one of the popular boys in school. He's literally the dream boy of every girl, the boy every girl wants... except Annabelle, or so she thinks...
He doesn't know her name
He doesn't know her secret
But he can't forget her
As their worlds intertwine and collide. With Annabelle's mask starting to fall off, she has to make a decision: will she keep hiding, or embrace the snowdrop her parents always believed she was?
