Aureatekissess
Aspiring painter Julia Vale finally gets her break when she's commissioned to create the cover art for Midnight Aureate's highly anticipated comeback album. To the public, the band is five brooding musical legends who vanished from the spotlight for three mysterious years. To insiders, they're whispers of something much darker-smuggling, surveillance, and silence enforced by violence.
Julia doesn't care about the rumors. She needs the paycheck, the exposure, and the escape from her spiraling life. But when she's flown to a remote estate in the south of France to work in private with the band, things quickly turn tense.
Harry Styles-, the band's elusive frontman-is intense, intelligent, and utterly unreadable. He watches Julia like she's a question he's trying not to answer. He speaks in riddles, disappears for hours, and seems to know things about her he shouldn't.
But the longer she stays, the more she notices:
• Late-night encrypted calls.
• Blood on someone's cuff.
• Cameras hidden behind mirrors.
• A sketch she never showed anyone... burned in the fireplace.
As Julia begins to piece together the truth-that Midnight Aureate is more than just music-she also starts to see the cracks in Harry's mask. The guilt. The grief. The loneliness. What began as cautious glances and curt conversations becomes a slow, dangerous unraveling of trust, desire, and moral lines.
But falling for Harry might not just cost her heart-it might cost her life.
