Connor Baldwin is 15 years old and lives in Chicago, when he rides his bike by High Messa Energy LLC, on his way to Orr Academy High School. As he rides past, he sees five brightly colored gems, an orange, a gold, and the most startling of all, one that looks like it has flames inside of it. He picks them up when his best friend, Billy Dickson, comes over, so Connor quickly closes his hand so Billy doesn't see them. When Billy walks away Connor opens his hand and sees the gems are liquid and are melting through his skin!!!! After two days Connor starts to change in many ways, he gets very muscular, and he also can run really, really fast, not quite the speed of light, but about 596 mph. And Connor finds out the gems gave him the powers, and the flamed one gave him the ability to suck fire into his hands and even shoot fire OUT of his hands. Connor decides to name himself "Flame Strike." Then the "other" comes. . . . He's just like Connor, but his fire is blue. He is wreaking havoc in the town, and only Flame Strike can stop him. . . .
