Nocturnal (adjective): active mainly during the night, happening in the night.

Letting the words just drift away, the pen flowing along the paper, her thoughts freed, absorbed, staining the paper by the black ink, the ink the colour of the darkest night. She let everything out, whether as words, as art, or simply as scribbles on a page as she turns the white gift from the trees to an ink stained replica of the night. Sara "Dwyn" Castele grew up alone. Well, not quite alone, she had a mother, and a father, a brother and sister, but it wasn't physically, the manner of which she was alone. She was alone in her mind. So she made a friend out of paper, a friend out of paper, made herself into ink. Never did Dwyn not carry a journal, neither journal not pen did she ever go without. People at school started calling her Pen. So to say she's surprised by the new boy who can read her mind, whose mind ah can read, well, that's the understatement of the century. All of a sudden she's no longer alone, and this girl with ink stained fingers finds her emotions becoming a strange conglomerated mess. What's to happen?

WE have many." Death has set its eyes on her; she will be haunted for life. But when, late at night, icy hands caress her skin, when a frozen body presses against hers, the shivers that shake her are far from being out of fear. And as a good Christian, she would have wanted to confess her nocturnal dreams. The problem is, she knows that as long as she lives, she will yearn for this desire that leaves her breathless, with wet panties the next morning.

Henry Barnes wakes to the pounding of a massive headache and a harsh, metallic smell. Resisting the urge to curl into a ball under the covers and fall back asleep, he gets up slowly, pausing every so often as waves of nausea wash over him. Finding it increasingly difficult to breath, he begins to wheeze, scrambling to find his inhaler as a full-on asthma attack threatens to overcome him. With a mind too numb to fully process his own state, he shuffles down his hallway in a daze, holding onto the wall for support, until he comes to his living room and stands stock still for a moment...
