This is a poem I wrote that pretty much sums up the way we view perfection, why the idea of it is wrong, and the actual meaning of perfection! I wrote this for a friend who was having a hard time with bullies. She wanted to change herself to be more "normal" and to "fit in"... I hated the way she was thinking about her self, and how she was treating herself because of what a few random people think! I hope this helps you to understand what perfect really means... This isn't just girls or even teens! I feel that this is a message that EVERYONE needs to hear/read and believe! I don't want anyone in the world to go through what she went through... And though i know that someone will always feel this way, i hope that they come across this poem and start to feel better about themselves! You shouldn't change who you are because of others! Hell has been hunting me for three years, two months, and eight days. Every time we meet, she leaves me bruised, bloodied, and broken. But she has a gift for me.
