I think it's funny when Life passes you by without considering that you might need it to hold on. That you might desperately want -need- it to slow down so you can catch your breath and catch up. But life doesn't care. Life will leave you in the dust and not look back, not caring if you get trampled by Social Life, Finances, Anxiety, Depression. And the only reason it does look back is to laugh at you while you suffer. I'm Matthew Kowell. This is my struggle with Life, and how I almost got trampled by Social Life, Finances, Anxiety, and Depression. Matthew hasn't always fought Life. They used to be friends, and he used to have friends. Then his sister died, leaving his parents in a tight spot, and that was about the time Life slapped Matthew in the face and declared them no longer friends for absolutely no reason. And about the same thing happened with all his real friends, too. When Matthew meets Sam, things look up. Someone who will talk to him, who he can talk to, someone who won't judge because she knows how it feels. But just because his Social Life has stopped beating him with a bat, doesn't mean everyone else will follow it's example. New chapter every week, maybe.

Everybody else's story is about a happy ending. My is never happy. I have no happily ever after. But maybe the fact one direction found me will help.
