Jackie Flint(they/them) and Rodrick Heffley(he/him?) had been friends ever since they had first moved into Plainview, all sarcasm, rock music, and rough edges since the very beginning. So naturally the two of them got along great and often worked as a team to torture Greg. But what Rod didn't know is that Jackie had a little crush that had managed to survive for years despite their best efforts. And Rodrick had some hidden feelings for them himself. friends to lovers and a slow burn, a little fluff and eventual smut. Very heavily based on the movies so sorry if it doesn't always make sense to those who haven't seen the movies. Also, I don't know much about the early 2000's so I've modernized a couple things.

This is a book about the upcoming movie- Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul. Many people were excited until the let down. Seeing the new cast, especially Rodrick was a huge shock.
