Nate is an alpha with a bad attitude. He thinks he has his future planned out and it doesn't involve a mate. He believes love only slows you down and he doesn't have time to chase it. When they meet he decides not to tell her thinking no harm could come from that secret. Mia is a sweet nerdy girl that's shy, but full of life.
