November16th Stories

It's bad enough living through it once - watching Wilbur's hand come down on the button; listening to the primed TNT sizzling in the dirt; throwing his wings around his son in one last, desperate attempt to save them both. But if there's a chance to change it all, to bring those he loves back together again, he would do it all again in a heartbeat. Even with the addition of another price to pay. Three chances. Three timelines. Three lifetimes of chances and fate. He cannot afford to fail.

Perhaps in another timeline, things would have gone as he had planned. Maybe Tommy would have to bear witness to his own brother blowing up the country they had built. The fallen hero would have died to a sword through his chest, wearing a melancholic smile on his face as a weeping father cradled the corpse of the son he had killed. But sadly, this is not that timeline and Fate is a cruel being who loves writing stories of tragedy. OR Tommy notices that Wilbur is missing at Tubbo's inauguration and finds him in the button room before Phil does. (And so the butterfly effect takes place and fucks shit up.)
