Numb Stories

This is a story about Noah. Noah has always lived with his parents, he was loved and cared for, but ever since his Father died, his whole word came crashing down. His mother decided to move them to her new boyfriend's house. Noah could have never imagined that his sweet and loving mother would become a drug addict, always neglecting him as he dies slowly in the arms of James, her new boyfriend. When her heart failed, it became worse. He wasn't alive, he was simply surviving. But what happens when a stranger comes to rescue him. Someone he found himself getting attached to even though he knew the risk. (Not lgbtq) After 13 years of pain. Noah finally knew how it was to be loved again, to be cared for. Noah finally found someone to lean on. A Man who became his solace in a world of pain. Noah found himself letting down the walls he had worked so hard to build around himself. He found himself melting into the Embrace of a stranger who became a family. Oh but that's not all, what if all this has something to do with his past? What if there was a huge mystery behind his parent's death? What if...this stranger has something to do with his past? . A past that he totally forgot about. What if everything that he has ever believed was all...a lie? What if all this was just some twisted revenge? Dive in to find out about the secrets that surround Noah as he tried to not run mad because of the secrets. (Not a good description but I promise it will be worth it when you read the story.) . . . After her best friend, Jenny died from overdosing, Sandy resorted to smoking to calm down her stress and grief. Years later, she's diagnosed with a type of lung cancer and now her days are numbered. With only a short amount of time to live, Sandy Antonio promises herself to complete the bucket list she designed as a kid with her late best friend. The Bucket List only serves one purpose- to leave a print behind that will tell off the wicked tale of Sandy and Jenny Antonio. But now that Jenny is gone, Sandy will need help. So with the help of a certain hot-headed criminal- if she can get him on her side- Sandy is bound to ruin the lives of the people in her town.

My first ever story please don't be too mean. "It had to be this way, after spilling so many tears he needed to end things by going to his water grave. He was always like that adding irony to everything. She liked that about him."

This is about those overwhelming moments in life and how it may cause one to break

The whole story is based off of the song 'How We Love' by Ingrid Michaelson.

Man why does feeling human need to feel so complicated. Oh well at least it means you are alive. Have you ever heard of that family of assassins? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It wasn't long ago when my father's friend was beheaded in front of my very eyes. I caught a glimpse of my father's sadness that quickly faded away for the others to notice. Years may have passed but that memory never left my mind.

When you have that internal battle between emptiness and that need for happiness. A very short poem in an attempt to express the feelings within the numb human. #532 in Poetry
