On the heels of an especially risky mission with a villain who has nearly killed him before, Deku learned his night catching up with Ochako had resulted in more than a hangover. He went to fight in the United States, planning to make it home for his child's birth, but when time got away from him and his child came into the world while he was on the opposite side of it, he began to panic. He wasn't in his right mind when Kacchan was struck from the sky and killed, he was given a choice, Bakugo for Midoriya. Izuku wouldn't be Izuku if he didn't try to trade his life for Kacchan's, but his life wasn't the one the Gods were after. How is Deku supposed to live with himself, knowing he traded the life of his new born child for Kacchan? And how can he expect Ochako to look at him again?
