Adam and his family were banished from the city and stranded on an island that would later become Pleasure Island. Adam and Michael began building an amusement park. But hatred and betrayal grew in his heart. He asked Jack to kidnap the villagers' children and take them to the island. In revenge, children are transformed into donkeys, which are then sold to salt mines. Adam and his family lives now in a small town called Danville. They're still circus performers and they still have shows. No one knows about their dark secret.

He is too afraid to put together the last piece of the letter when it is left on his doorstep on the last night of October, so instead, he gears up his inner-explorer and goes traipsing right into what is reportedly the most haunted manor in the otherwise mundane town of Havenfall. Rhys keeps reminding himself that some questions are better left unanswered. But how will he manage to hold on that belief after discovering what he does at the infamous manor? Richie and his gang decide to up their investigation game and go searching for the scariest place in the country, mainly because Richie wants to outshine his self proclaimed YouTube rival. While cracking down on finding the killer, strangely enough, Spencer and Vivian seem to form a bond- Both of them seemingly developing feelings they thought they would never have.
