This is my version of season 2 of Our Flag Means Death since I know everyone can't wait till season 2. Like most of my fanfics, you should go and watch the show before reading this as there will be major spoilers for the whole season. The title says it all. I have written two EdxStede one shots since the last episode for Our Flag Means Death aired. I'll probably be posting them on ao3 when I get an account but that may take a while.

Stede Bonnet is a mermaid who longs to be a pirate. When the chance comes along for him to have legs, he jumps onboard. However, in order to keep them, he has to kill or seduce a pirate captain in two weeks. Easy, right? Title of this fic is a line from the song "Calypso" by John Denver.

Stede finds a cat in the lower decks of The Revenge and Ed is jealous the cat is receiving more attention from Stede than he is.

The crew of the Revenge have a conversation about mermaids instead of doing their pirate duties. An interesting conversation ensues.

When the message of the Gentleman pirates death finally reaches the feared Blackbeard, he had no choice but to find those who had witnessed his ending. Or Ed is being tactless and invades Marys home in search of answers.

Post-season one, post-reunion but not-quite reconciliation. To celebrate a recent swashbuckling, the crew is having a dance party aboard The Revenge! Trouble is, Edward and Stede still haven't really -addressed- anything that has happened between them. But thanks to a dreamy summer night and Frenchie's lute, they might just get the courage to put words to whatever it is. CW for light mention of drinking; everyone is a little buzzed but more than sober enough to consent to anything that's happening.

Stede was a well-known gentleman who was understood to have been very unsettled with his life. Married with children, his life lacked a certain feel of something he craved. Well, be careful what you wish for as the day of the raid had happened. Blackbeard had come.

This is my interpretation of what happens after the Season 1 Finale of OFMD All characters within this story AREN'T MINE! all credit goes to the creators of Our Flag Means Death. Follows the story of Stede Bonnett and his adventures with his crew of finding his one true love, Blackbeard.

After Stede left Ed at the dock with a broken heart, both men seemed to change for the better and the worse. In this fanfic you will see our favorite pirate couple as they fight for their lives to get back together and be the people they want to be.

Stede Bonnet is most certainly not the runaway son of an incredibly wealthy baron, who fled the very night he was to be wed to a Ms. Mary Allamby. Heavens no! He's a Lighthouse Keeper. Rhys was used to Taika's sometimes unusual sleeping habits, but this was a first even for Taika. No smut, just friendship content.
