Due to her service in the Army and Navy he wants her to join the task force on Oahu. After a week of it eating at her she agrees. She eats one last Sunday dinner with her siblings, nieces and nephews, father and grandpa before leaving for Hawaii with her twins. Once she has arrived in Hawaii she's taken in by the task force. They treat her like family automatically. She starts the Sunday dinner tradition at her new house and the team enjoys it. But she starts falling for her boss and Navy Commander, Steve McGarrett. Will they work out? Will her family like him?

The story is about two best friends who love each other like brothers. Mike was in a foster system and they put him in a catholic school in 9th grade, but it wasn't until the end of sophomore year when he met his best friend Sebastian. Originally they were a group of 3 best friends but things happened and they stopped being best friends with the third party but they still talk to them. Now its just the two of them against everyone who tries to separate them. There are 3 girls who want to stand between them because they're in love with Mike. But he doesn't like any of them so they try to break him up with Sebastian by talking shit about him to Mike. Gratefully Mike got adopted by a wonderful woman named Lily who also adopted Mike's little brother Jeremy and his two sisters Nicole and Nina. Something happened between Sebastian and his family which you'll know what is when you're reading this story and now his living with Mike and the rest of his family as the 6th member of the family.
