I walk around school and ones appear above my class mates heads. The occasional 2 or 3 is there. It shows what they are capable of; How dangerous they are. I've never seen someone with a danger level of 10. I live in a small town where nothing happens. The people are not dangerous so I've never seen anyone with a level over 3 or four... until he showed up. Cara can see something nobody else can. As she walks through the halls of her high school, around town, or anywhere she sees people she sees a number above their head. This number is a level of danger. She knows if she told anyone they would think she's crazy, and anytime she has ever seen any person of threat it has only been on tv and they were taken care of by the cops. She has always felt safe and known there was no danger around her... That was until the day a new kid in her grade showed up... with a level 10.
