Barry Allen has been a problem for him for some time. When he unofficially starts asking questions in the shadier parts of town the young man surprises Oliver. He'd hoped his light intimidation tactics would be enough to dissuade Barry from asking too many questions, or questions to the wrong people. If only that had stopped him from doing anything that could be considered risky in aid of solving The Arrow mystery...

Felicity had known since the beginning. She had seen it coming from far away before Oliver even had realized it himself. But she didn't want to admit it... admit that she had lost the love of the dark vigilante to the red hero of Central City.

Rachel Berry went to Central City and was there when the accelerator went off. She let and didn't ever look back and got married. Then something strange started happening. Barry Allen went to Central City to get away and met some special people there but then his past caught up to him. Maybe the fastest man alive should have run a little faster.

Oliver Queen is in love with Kara Danvers. He plans to tell her during dinner, but things don't go as planned: she breaks the news that she's now in a relationship with a man named Winn Schott. He blows off steam by spending the rest of the night as the infamous vigilante, the 'Arrow', but again- things don't go as planned. As he beats up another thug on the streets, cops arrive to the scene and out of a moment of weakness and fear of his identity being revealed, he quickly changes out of his suit and gear to be portrayed as his normal, civilian, billionaire playboy self, Oliver Queen. Oliver Queen was known as the billionaire playboy heartbreaker before his time on the island after the shipwreck that took his father's life. When he returned to Starling City, he made it his mission to clear up the city's corrupt businesses and politicians as well as crime as the vigilante, the Arrow. The moment Barry Allen stumbled awkwardly into his life with his big brown innocent eyes and awkward smile barely two years ago, Oliver fell in love. Since discovering that the girl of his dreams was in love with someone else, Barry was afraid to open his heart and fall in love again. But Barry isn't alone and Oliver tries to get him to see that he loves him and would do almost anything for him. Barry will have to learn to open his heart up once more and maybe, just maybe, Oliver Queen can make him love again. Because without pain or suffering, what is love? *Excerpt From Story* Barry stared up at Oliver, who surprisingly was a head taller than him. He noticed just how close the other man really was, their faces a hairsbreadth away from each other. "Barry, you're not alone. You will never be alone. I will always be here, come hell or high water, through the ups and downs, because I love you." Oliver said firmly but gently. Barry realizes that Oliver would never leave him, never abandon him alone. He comes to the revelation that if Oliver loves him, then he should try to reciprocate them because deep down, he knows he loves Oliver. But he can't bring himself to force the feelings out, in words and in action. Barry stares up at him, his hazel/green eyes with unshed happy tears. He reaches up and places a hand on Oliver's cheek, smiling through his emotional pain. "Then make me love you."

Oliver has lost a lot, and he keeps losing more and more. The more he loses, the more he breaks... but what if there were nothing left to break? what happens when a certain Central City hero tries to help pick up the pieces? will he be able to put the pieces back together? or will something happen between them that ruins them both?

Barry Allen is a regular CSI who works his normal 9 to 5, except when he's done with work he has to deal with the demons in his head. In this story Barry never becomes the flash but Oliver is still the arrow. Barry is struggling already, his father's case and Joe and Iris are the only things keeping him from ending it all but when Joe and Iris become too busy with work to realize there's something very wrong with Barry and an unexpected event occurs it sends Barry over the edge. Luckily a certain hooded vigilante happened to be running across the rooftops just in time.

The exhaustion was quickly seeping into Barry's bones. He didn't know how much longer he could keep moving this fast. Jay had already given up, the older speedster not being able to take it. Jessie wasn't that far behind him, and Barry knew he had made the right call by sending her away. If he couldn't save everybody, at least he could save one person.
