Having a third eye made it quite effortless for Fay to understand humans. Up until she was finally released from the place she was held in, forced to meet a completely fresh environment and trying her best in not attaching too much. When Rose and the Gladers escape the maze , they didn't know what to do next. With killing Gally and being bombarded by soldiers and throwing them in a helicopter they didn't know which side to take. The Flat Trans malfunctions and they end up on an island with only a small population. They stumble upon a bombed and empty house to only find out it isn't a septet as they thought. A house for people with abilities far beyond anyones imagination. Ironically, Rose was born with an abilities. Rose then gets close to the oldest boy peculiar. Enoch.
