Homeschooling is a method in which children are taught at home, usually by parents, without following the rigid method of traditional schooling structure. Some parents do it for religious and political issues. And more than a few got frustrated when they realized how challenging school was or was not for their children when whole things moved to zoom in2020.

This is a story...ha-ha...I mean my story, Mia Thompson, a twenty-year-old currently living in Nairobi, Kenya. I'm taking an online course in journalism. My parents, well they are researchers (epidemiologists.) in Marie Health Organization (a famous health research company). Thanks to my parents type of job,I have grown up having my kid brother, Alex Thompson, as my only friend who I can talk to in real life due to the relocation to a different country every year. Yes, I have made many friends in literally every country we have lived in. Why I don't keep in touch with them? Why? This is simple yet annoying because the people I termed as "friends" end up deactivating their social media accounts and create new ones ...Relocating sucks that much!!! But it has its perks. I began developing the urge to find a male friend that we ain't tied down by blood. To be more specific, I needed a male best friend. Not that I despise girls, but I just need the opposite specie to test the waters of life with. Is she desperate...? Uhm, maybe. What will her desperation lead to? The biggest question is; will she be able to quench her thirst, satisfy her hunger for a male best friend?

School. No. Just no. Give me online school any day lockdown come hither!

They ignore it until Despair makes it to Japan and causes the school and everything to lockdown. Hope's Peak then, like every other school switches from in person to online instruction.
