As the title says, this is the second season of Launched in Space inspired by Super Mario Galaxy 2. This may be a short story, but let's see what happens. It's been two years since the galaxy has been saved from Bowser's clutches. Everyone on Earth and in space has adjusted to the new cycle of life. Mario and his friends on Earth are enjoying the peace in their planet without any further disturbances, and Ludwig and Rosalina have their family of Lumas expanded. In fact, they're just about to have an official wedding. Soon, they'll be King and Queen of the galaxy. However, their wedding was interrupted when a giant Bowser holding Princess Peach in one hand swoops another hand in and kidnaps Ludwig. Now Rosalina and Mario need to team up again to stop Bowser once again and save their special ones.

The human race has been reprogrammed. Humans are efficient, accurate, hardworking, and of one mind, There are no disputes, no diseases, nothing abnormal. But abnormalities are what give people the ability to think for themselves, and without it, humans become nothing more than complex machines. But the human race has learned to adapt, as it always does. And some brains are immune to this reprogramming, leaving them free to think for themselves. But this comes with some side effects-- these free minded people have supernatural abilities.

Clover Keith was 10 years old when it happened. Her ability to manipulate plants began and she had to learn how to live with it and use it. She is now 15 years old and still has the powers- clorokinesis, which is the ability to control plants. She has learned and used her powers for 5 years, each day learning something new. But she doesn't know why she has these powers, or how she got them. All she knows is that she has them. Her best friend, Astrid Moon, had a similar thing happen to them. Astrid can manipulate the stars and knows plenty about astrology. The two friends don't know if their "powers" are from the same cause but they do know that they want to figure it out. One day, there's news of the mythological being of evil- Baldassare- being real and wanting something from a certain group of people. Clover and Astrid happen to be two of those people. So, the two set off in search of this- supposedly evil- being and their goal is to find out what they want and destroy him if it's anything bad. Will the two friends be safe? Will they find Baldassare and figure out what they want? Will they find the rest of the group the evil being is searching for? And if so- what will happen?
