Ellen Bennett was a young Englishwoman who had grown up amidst the cold stone walls of an orphanage. Recently the end of World War Two, a young girl and her father take a trip to the Scottish Highlands for a holiday. After going to the fabled Stones of Cragnadun alone, the young girl gets suddenly transported to the far distant past during the Jacobites and a time where Scotland are currently fighting for independence. Along the way she meets many new faces that will become either her enemies or friends. She may even find love amongst them as she tries to find her way back to the stones and back home to her father in her time.

an eighteen-year-old Australian student transfers to America on scholarship for track and field, when training she gets lost on a hike with one of her classmates and they end up back in the 1700's lost and confused, but having fun, unsure if she wants to return home after finding a more exiting way of life, or if she shall return to the future where her possible career awaits. while in the past Tahnee is dresses as a man to save her friend from being taken by some unknown men whose intentions are unclear, this is when they meet the Frasers. Disclaimer: I apologise in advance for bad spelling and or grammar, I encourage constructive criticism, and please tell me if something doesn't make sense or is spelt wrong. The families are separated and she has to try to go back to her own time. Somethings just cannot be stopped. What can an English woman do in an unknown country- which men call Scotland? Based on Outlander TV- series.

N: This is the second version of my story with the main change being the cover photo. I'm just curious if one cover will do better than the other.
