Princess Aurora is Seventeen years old and the future heir to the throne of Floral Castle. Part of the Floral Kingdom, which is located in Wrestria among the other kingdoms At thirteen, the kingdom's beloved Queen and Aurora's Mother passed due to a sickness. She lives with her Father, King Cedric, Alexander the middle child, and Amir, the youngest of the siblings. Her younger brothers are the polar opposite of each other. Amir is carefree, mischievous, cracks jokes constantly while Alexander is cold and distant from years of being neglected. Their whole life appears perfect on the outside-luxurious, royal, neat, and exciting. But really? It's not as perfect. It means extra responsibility. Extra pressure. Less freedom. She spends most of her time fake smiling, wearing uncomfortable dresses/gowns, making speeches in public, half-listening to Father's speeches, and attending events or charities she doesn't want to. It's like a cage, but fancy. But when she's doing sword training with Eric, her sword teacher? That's when she feels the most like herself. Free. Alive. Eric has been teaching her since she was ten, he's almost like a father figure to her. She doesn't want to admit it, but she got attached over the years from his almost limitless patience and understanding. One afternoon, she has to leave in the middle of sword practice to go to the Eve Festival. It celebrates the growth of crops again in the spring. She gets ready, eats food, has polite discussions, and fake smiles. Everything is going perfect. But later in the night, when most of the people are distracted. A mysterious figure speaks with her Father, but she only manages to catch snippets of the conversation until he leaves. Where is he? What happened? That's what she's wondering. The next day, at the breakfast table with her brothers, while Alexander is internally judging Amir and his eating habits. A seemingly any other normal day. Then a guard arrives with the news of the King. He's missing.
