Developmental co-ordination disorder (DCD), also known as dyspraxia, is a condition affecting physical co-ordination. It causes a child to perform less well than expected in daily activities for their age, and appear to move clumsily. I decided to start writing this fanfic as a way to discuss my struggles with dyslexia and now it affects me on a daily basis. I chose Alex as many neurodivergent people like myself do suffer from mental health issues, due to feeling weird or different from others. Please note that this fanfic will be focusing on my struggles with dyspraxia, please do not use this as a way to generalise any other dyspraxic person that you may meet. (or even neurodivergent people as a whole) Alex has known he's had dyspraxia ever since he was around 4 or 5 years old, yet his parents never bothered to do any research on it and how they could help him.
