If there is someone who you would call Little Miss Perfect, it would be Kiara Moussa. The Pakistani girl with the fair skin, dark hair and eyes who has been voted 'The Sweetheart' two years in a row for the yearbook. With her Bambi like eyes, cheeky laughter, and perpetually sunny disposition, it is easy to believe that she leads a charmed life. She puts on a show of living life as a musical prodigy so effortlessly that no one sees the work she puts in every spare moment that she has or how far she is pushed to achieve perfection. Emre Ersoy had always admired Kiara from afar. Yes, even though he would never admit it out loud, he knew he was crushing on her hard when he picked up the guitar and she smiled her brilliant smile at him. He was 11 and she was 10. He'd wanted to be around her more than he ever let on but they'd both moved into different friend groups and had different interests. It was compliments from her that Emre realised that he really liked music and wanted to pursue it, regardless of what his Turkish parents thought. They are paired together for their History project and all those years of secret looks are not secret anymore. And it finally looks like Emre has a chance to get close to this girl that he'd admired all this time. But he quickly realises that the girl in school isn't really the same person at home as he gets to know her better. They tease, they flirt; but there are those who are unhappy with the two of them get closer. The closer they get, the more difficult things get for them. Will circumstances push them closer together or pull them apart? *Avril Lavigne Ska8er Boi x slow burn teen romance*

'Death never stops surprising you.' A sentiment Aria knows all too well. Her world on its surface is perfect. A completely enclosed ecosystem protected from the nuclear winter of the Outside World. No sickness, no famine, nothing to worry about. Nothing that is except for Spectre, the computer system that determines who lives and dies annually based on their importance to society. Somehow everyone around her seems to cope, but seeing as how Spectre has taken every member of her family, Aria struggles to fall in line with the status quo. Whether it's pressure from the powers that be, her first potential love, or full on revolution, Aria seems to be pulled in every direction, each one with drastic consequences, and no clue which way to go.

Eyre goes to find her heart in Ireland, what she doesn't realize is she will be leaving it there. Eyre decides she's had enough and jumps on the first appealing flight, landing her in the heart of Ireland. As she looks out from the Cliffs of Moher, she thinks about how much Crohn's and endometriosis have forced her to give up in life. Darby, definitely not to be confused with Jane Austen's Mr. Darcy, is a cynical and jaded Irishman who doesn't get emotionally involved-a true grump. While giving a tour, he spots a woman dangerously close to the edge of the cliffs, and he's drawn to her. But everything's about to change for both of them. Darby collects Eyre as part of his tour group and decides to show her the heart of Ireland, and in doing so, shows her how much heart she still has left to give. Darby has his own demons to face-invisible ones that he battles every day. With the help of a curmudgeonly older Irish man, a quirky border collie, and a fiery yet grandmotherly bartender, Eyre and Darby's wounded souls start to open up their hearts to each other. But is the healing power of Ireland enough to open a guarded heart? And is love enough to help a scarred soul face the demons he has been trying to outrun for so long? Seventeen-year-old Matthias has been deaf for his entire life. He's used to living in a hearing world. He's used to overwhelming pity, well-meaning but naive waitresses with Braille menus, and "deaf kids hearing for the first time" montage videos. But being used to something and liking it are two different things. And contrary to popular belief, he likes being deaf. Just not when his parents consider wrapping him in bubble wrap and putting bars on the windows whenever he mentions wanting to see the world on his own. Not really...but really. Kale suffers from crippling anxiety. That's not a good thing. Not when you live two thousand years in the future where that kind of stuff is supposed to be preemptively snuffed out with a single procedure at birth. Not when you have powers that can destroy an entire ecosystem if you lose control. And especially not when you're trapped in the past with an overzealous deaf boy as your only ally. While being pursued by a bloodthirsty organization looking for a key to the future. Yeah, definitely not a good thing. Jade made a mistake. He was at the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong person. The wrong person just so happened to be from the future, he just so happened to fall in love, and then everything went suddenly, horribly wrong. Now, locked away with a ragtag group of people who possess freakish abilities, his only chance at going home is to prove what everyone thinks he isn't: normal. And with a library of secrets inside his head and a heart twisted by bitterness and regret, he can't afford to make any more mistakes. Can three outcasts overcome their struggles and fight for who they are? Or will their differences be their downfall? In a world where everyone wants to be perfect, sometimes acceptance matters more. She was kind and never said a bad word, playing the music as she was told. It wasn't like her life impacted me, but it was enough to know that there wasn't going to be a pianist for Monday's ensemble rehearsal. I typed in Cystic Fibrosis. I knew I probably shouldn't, it would make me feel like shit. Useless, unhelpful, ungrateful Harry. I can't do much in the grand scheme of things. I curled my legs up closer to my chest and let the laptop fold a little. Clicking on the first link I didn't read anything. I stared at the screen, not the words, or the pictures; the dull glow. I exited the tab. 'Do you believe in ghosts?' In Harry, Avery and Amelia's final year of high school, their study takes a turn when the unofficial school blog blows up. A girl has died and her bucket list has been leaked, whoever completes it is the ultimate mourner. For Amelia, it's already strange having moved schools to be hurled into the gossip of a dead girl. Harry is determined to do well in the state schools jazz competition while Avery is confused by her feelings towards Amelia. So wrapped up in their own lives to stop and realise there's something off about the bucket list, how could it have been shared if the owner is dead?

On a last desperate attempt to save her loved ones, Thalia decides to work with a strange foreigner who claims to know a way of curing the disease. After an enraged ocean nearly drowns an entire kingdom, Soren finds a dangerous secret that may reveal the flooding wasn't as natural as it appeared to be. Troubled by his discovery, he struggles to help a kingdom that rejects the help of sorcerers, and he's forced to work alongside those he despises the most. Meanwhile, on the shattered mountains of Ragno, a young sorceress named Romi seeks the demons that supposedly caused such destruction. With the help of a lesser spirit, however, she finds that someone else is already prowling the mountains searching for the same thing; and at the same time, searching for her. But on those mountains Romi finds that the disasters spanning the continent are no mere coincidences, although that revelation becomes the least of her problems as she finds a strange girl that claims to hold the power to stop the war to come.
