The year is 2091, and oxygen is everything.
In a future where greenhouse gases have consumed the earth's atmosphere, breathing has never been more difficult. Oxygen is fed directly from cannisters into monitors connected to one's bloodstream, neutralising the toxic, unbreathable air. But tens of thousands die everyday, suffocating because they simply can't afford to breathe.
Follow 17-year-old Adira Jones as she fights for equality in society and justice for her mother; to right the wrongs by the rich and fix a broken world.
But how much is Adira willing to risk to be able to breath freely?
~Extract~
I stare at Mother's shrivelled body laying on her bed, the oxygen rig beside her flashing "0%" in bold red letters. My heart feels numb with emotions I can't describe. I can't keep doing this. I can't keep waking up every morning to face the reality of her lifeless body sitting there. I know I need to report it, but I feel paralysed.
Updates every few days :)
