Kim is the God of the Hearth, of the warmth that holds against the cold of winter, of small fires kept alive through the cold nights. His is a minor dominion. Seasonal, sparsely worshipped, and bound to the turning of the year. Latte is the God of Winter, Lord of Snow and Ice , of the cold that does not end. His is a greater dominion. A major God feared more often than he is loved, and his power endures beyond the boundary of the seasons that birthed it. They are the antitheses of each other. To the rest of the Gods, lesser and Greater alike, that should have been the whole of it. Two forces meant only to hold winter's balance, and parting once that balance held. Nothing owed beyond that, nothing shared beyond that. Yet it is written nowhere that the God of Winter cannot want the Hearth.

"Cor Amoris Imperium Destruere Potest" - "A heart of love can destroy an empire." A powerful phrase - a phrase so powerful it can destroy even the Roman Empire. (Not in our reality!! This is a seperate reality where the Empire collapsed way earlier.) The year is 384.A.D, and Marcus is 19, from Beneventum, the modern day equivalent being Benevento, in Italia. A few days ago, he went to Roma. To get a job. And now.. He's in the army. His first task? To Aegyptus. To help close down Pagan temples in the Nile. .. You see, the thing about Marcus.. He himself was Pagan. Roman Pagan. .. What would he do? Especially when he met someone. And then someone else too. (Thank you all so much for clicking on this book! It means a lot to me <3 This is my first book, and the reason I actually started this is because of Latin Duolingo lessons! The characters were bullying Marcus, so my friends said they needed Marcus lore, so yeah!) (Please enjoy reading this, as it's probably going to take me a while.) (-James)

Well this is my research as a Beginner Witch basically,I am taking the info(like if I take some ideas, spells, I just want to,etc) from outside sources (which I will be listing) and putting them out into my own words (BUT by giving THEM the credit) Though some of them are my own too so I won't be listing anything in regards to them. These are my notes basically. Tbh today, sometime ago probably 1 pm or something I was sad and then BOOM I got an idea to write a book on Wattpad as my Grimoire and post it here,to have my memories in hand and like maybe even help you guys out! :) I am also into Paganism and Demonolatry,as my journey grows I know I will be getting into other things ^^ English is not my first language so there might be some errors! I am taking the cover from Pinterest and mainly all my pictures are/are gonna be from other sources unless I state otherwise(like if it's mine)! I am gonna be updating at my own pace.

"Intelligent and imaginative; and strongly supported by the commentary, which is full and carefully researched, the pastiche rewriting of Gawain reads like a cross between Michael Moorcock and Angela Carter: strong, evocative descriptive language and careful use of alliteration keeps the spirit of the original while using a distinctively different narrative style. I like the focus in the stand-off between pagan and Christian elements in the original." - academic review. This short story comprises a creative response to the tale of Sir Gawain and The Green Knight, a medieval romance poem by an anonymous author. Also included is an analysis of that creative response. Both sections comprised one of my submissions for a module at the National Academy of Writing. "The child waited, embowered and leafless but for the green girdle at her waist and the shroud of flaxen hair which lay lithely about her shoulders. High amongst the heart-shaped leaves of the linden tree she let her feet play, as if dabbling in the eddies of the brook frothing and foaming far below the boughs. Over that thundering torrent, which twisted down from the rugged slope, through jutting crags and black jagged outcroppings, falling from cliff edge to valley floor, tinkling bells intoned a visitor’s arrival far beyond the glade."
