A helpful guide to Greek mythology including the primordials, titans, gods, goddesses, monsters, heroes and more! Things to note about this story is that since I'm writing about real historical mythology, there is of course many, many, different variations, retellings and plots in existence for each one of the myths so I will do my best to comment on and add in variations when necessary, though in some cases I may just stick with the most common, my favorite or the most historically accurate depictions! "If this is just the original myths can't I just go on Theoi?" Well I try to recount all of the myths in an accurate but easy to understand way, which is quite difficult other places, though if you have any questions about anything, please just ask!!

Bone & Prayer They call her the Wolf Witch. Some swear she was raised by wolves beneath the watchful eyes of the old gods. Others claim she speaks with ravens, reads the future in carved bone, and walks untouched through forests where no man dares follow. Priests call her cursed. Danes call her blessed. Most simply pray they never cross her path. Years ago, Freki disappeared into the wilderness, escaping the cruelty of her father, Kjartan the Cruel. The world believed she had died. Her brother never stopped carrying the guilt. Now, after Kjartan's death, whispers of a mysterious seer reach Uhtred of Bebbanburg. A woman with wolves at her side. A woman bearing the blood of Kjartan. A woman known only as the Wolf Witch. Determined to uncover the truth, Uhtred leads his men north, never expecting that the legend they seek is Sihtric's long-lost sister. Freki has survived by the wisdom of the forest, the guidance of the old gods, and the family she found among wolves. She has no need for kingdoms, kings, or war. Then she meets Osferth. The gentle monk-turned-warrior is unlike anyone she has ever known. He does not fear the whispers surrounding her, nor does he ask her to abandon the gods she serves. Instead, he offers quiet kindness where others offer suspicion, steadfast faith where others demand proof, and a heart brave enough to see the woman hidden beneath the legend. As Saxons and Danes wage war for England's future, Freki and Osferth must navigate two worlds that insist they should never belong together. One walks by bone. One walks by prayer. Yet both discover that family is chosen, faith wears many faces, and love is strongest when it asks neither person to become someone else. Destiny is all... but perhaps destiny is not written by blood alone.

(WARNING: This is a much darker story than my others. There will be gore, sacrifices, racism, religious extremism, animal parts, and sex.) Things are changing in Salem. In the dead of night, on the autumn wind, came newcomers hiding in plain sight. In the high school, in the police department, and in the clinic are new faces - faces that don't belong. The whispers tattled to the crow in the watchtower, and she's watching. She's waiting. In a town like this, no one goes unnoticed. A town riddled with prejudice and superstition. A town stuck in its ways, in the past where witches burned and the church ruled the land. A religious divide separates the population still. In no time at all, the nine strangers are caught in the crossfire of a war long fought, and dark tales of make believe become their reality. The war on witches, something all thought ended four centuries ago, still rages on unknown to outsiders. With the mysterious girl always watching but never close enough to cross paths with them, comes triangular marks singed into their wrists that will bind them all together as long as they shall live. Scarlett and the nine strangers must learn to work together if Salem has any hope of surviving the curse a scorned witch from deep within The Dead Wood casts on the entire town. No one is safe. Puritans and witches alike are in danger. Fingers are pointed on either side, and violence rages in their hearts. If it isn't stopped - all of Salem will burn. • "If I should die before I wake, I pray the lord, my soul to take."

It is said that back when the town of Ravenport was first colonized, a witch lived among the people. The witch created medicine to treat the townsfolk for everything from the mumps to food poisoning. No one questioned it for nearly two decades until the witch was found bathing in a tidepool by the town's beach with a pentagram on their back. The witch also spoke to what was called a selkie. A hunter shot the selkie, and then the witch was shot in the leg just as they were about to turn into a wolf to flee. Without explanation, without even a trial, the witch was burned and buried deep in the Ravenport woods. A large stone was set over the witch's grave to prevent her from returning from the dead. As the years passed, everyone believed it to be a wive's tale and a story to tell children to keep them inside at night and not to wander the woods lest the witch eats them. For Luna Ravenport, she didn't care if it was true or not. The fourteen-year-old girl ventured into the woods on the full moon on all hallow's eve to find the stone that was said to keep the witch in the earth. Luna had heard tales the witch granted wishes to true believer's of their story and if they had an offering of something sweet. With Halloween candy, Luna wished for her soul to appear - Only to somehow summon Lucifer. Now she has a new best friend who won't leave her alone. Although, it could be worse; Luna could be lonely like she always was and not have anyone to help her around everyone who bullied her; Which was practically the whole town.

WALKING WITH DIVINITY is a series of diary and journal entries, information, and personal experiences with divinity. It is written by 3 members of a queer, disabled, plural system; Yarrow, Twig, and Rue, who all follow different religious faiths, so there are excerpts of trying to balance life along with this. All of us practice some form of magic, so that will be prevalent in this, too. WALKING WITH DIVINITY is a lifelong project, and at the time of writing this we don't know when it will end, all we know is it will be published to the internet chapter by chapter, and this book will always remain a free resource.

When Beowulf was composed, England was changing from a pagan to a christian culture. Pagan Anglo-saxons told grim tales of life ruled by fate, tales in which people struggled against monsters for their place in the world. The missionaries who converted them to christianity taught them that human beings and their choices of good or evil were at the center of creation. Beowulf reflects both pagan and Christian traditions. The selection opens during an evening of celebration at Herot, the banquet hall of the danish king Hrothgar (hroth'gär). Outside in the darkness, however, lurks the murderous monster Grendel. This is in NO WAY my story. I read this in english and thought it would be fun to post on here. Enjoy❤️❤️
