The recent occurrence of human reemergence has brought disorder to the village of Kilima. If history is to be believed, their species was one of such flagrant excess which led to their untimely demise and the permanent genetic mutation of the planet's global ecosystems. Although the humans may not remember their past, they remain intelligent, social creatures. Can Sardonyx find true acceptance in this society? It will all depend on the relationships she chooses to invest in.

Annette's entrance into the land of Palia was just as random and unplanned as the rest of the humans. She started out just like all of them did- Building a home, meeting the villagers Kilima, stumbling to grapple her way in the new world that she found herself in with no memories of the life she led before... She found that she didn't mind her lack of remembrance, however. This new place... it was a second chance, a world of new possibilities and new paths to explore. The new world that she was dropped into may just dig its way into her heart, with the Palians that inhabit it following suit. Jel is a tailor in palia who loves the beach and the sound of waves. He dreams of making a dress that matches the night sky perfectly. One day, he meets this human, or so he thought by the beach, who knew she had a secret identity all he knows is her name, Melody.

Throughout his career, Sanat Palia worked with various bands and recorded many jazz albums.

If only Jel knew how much she truly appreciated him, how much she longed for him, always. She could distract herself, she could drift, but he would always be there at the back of her mind. He would always be the first thing her mind wandered to. He would always be the first one her eyes wandered to.
