You aren't as smart as Sans but you aren't stupid ether. You aren't as optimistic as Papyrus but you aren't pessimistic ether. You are always the in the middle. You have hope in getting out of the lab but you didn't have as much as Papyrus. Gaster keep you in a different place then Papyrus and Sans so you didn't Sans or Papyrus for a long time. Gaster let you watch them on the cameras so you still got to see them. (ok this is my first story, so sorry if it's not the best and this will go along with the canon story one last thing, if I spell something wrong just tell me. there is no cover yet)

Sans is a pun loving skeleton who loves to sleep and slack off at work so when he started to change everyone began to notice it very quickly. They all brush it off thinking that it was nothing serious but they could not be more wrong. All characters of this story belong to the game Undertale made by Toby Fox. (Undertale | Sans/Original Female Character) As it turned out, nothing was smooth sailing after they all went above ground. Problems were coming to them left and right - fear, politics, power, discrimination, and so on. They were met with opposition - too many to count - and with every step forward, they had to take five steps back, which wasn't ideal. It was why, exactly fifty resets later - with each loop spanning longer and longer - Frisk and Sans decided that a do-over was in order. Not just to the point when they were released. No. But all the way back Underground. Back to when Frisk first came upon the Ruins. Back to the beginning. They didn't want to, but they were left with no choice. There really was no possible way out. So they went all the way back to the only place humans couldn't reach them to reconvene and plan their way out. It should be easy. Despite having left the cycle for decades (centuries? dunno, they didn't really keep track), they'd gone through the motion so much that everything should be like clockwork - predictable and monotonous. Yet, something unexpected happened. There's another human in the Underground. One they hadn't expected to see so soon.

It's been 5 years since monsters emerged from Mt. Ebott. They integrated into society rather quickly, but they still have people who disagree against the Governments decision to give them rights. Personally, you think monsters have better morals and attitudes than humans do. And who new that all you had to do to gain new friends was to get stabbed in the leg? When your insane brother escapes prison unexpectedly, you never have been happier to have friends who care about you. However, one monsters smile keeps you filled with hope and determination along with something you denied yourself of years ago...

The barrier is broken, the monsters were freed by Frisk-happy ending right? Chaos ensues and lives are destroyed. The god like Asgore enslaves humanity and humans are reduced to slaves and servants. All monsters share a dark past but none like Sans as he finally gives in and purchases a slave of his own...who is Rose and why is she the only human to ever possess a white soul? cover image is not mine. How many times have you seen this world, how many resets does it take for you to give up hope? Does anything even matter after all this, does trying do anything? Will the struggle help at all, can I even believe in anyone anymore? The only thing keeping me going now is my resentment.
