As the nodes of destiny continued to flicker and pulse with an ominous energy, the main protagonists known as Jack keeps awakening into dreams that he thinks are his reality. Outside these strange dimensions are a group of powerful beings known as "The Watchers." They gathered in their celestial observatory outside the "Universal Spheres", observing the time breaks as the dreamer, dreams on and they were running out-of time. But they could see every pathway and if they intervened...there would be no hope for humanity or the Universal Spheres and everything within it...

After a long summer with dozens of hours spent walking through corn fields, plenty of time to contemplate the inexplicable, I had some free time to write. And thus "Paradox" was born.

Someone had an idea. It was a unique idea, really, but a strange one as well. What if two paradoxical things could exist in a human being? Beautiful and hideous, fearful and brave, fire and ice... The hypothesized result was they'd gain something of great value. What that something was is still in question. As researchers, Zeke and Blake couldn't have been more thrilled to be researching paradoxes. But as childhood friends, they find the project is becoming dangerous. Their research is leaked, their lives are threatened, and they only have each other to lean on. The hypothesized result? Something, whether the press, whether the one behind the death threats, whether one of the two inseparable friends was going to tear them apart. Thanks to Daydreamer7749 for the amazing cover! I would also like to thank Ari_forev and foreverballoon for the additional choices of covers they provided. If you need a cover, I'd definitely recommend all three. :P

This poem tells the story of a heartbreak, where love itself becomes unbearable-forcing one to leave, not out of hatred, but out of mercy. Staying would only break them more. It is not my first poem, but it is the first I've chosen to share in Wattpad. A piece of myself, published for the first time.

You die a little inside every time you daydream about having sex with crush, or for just harmlessly putting off doing your homework just because you're lazy, or for getting upset over a game notification, or for asking money in return for little services like sharing your illegally owned software or movies, or for eating the whole pizza by yourself, or for feeling mad because you don't have an iPhone 6 while your fake friend does, or for hating anything that proves embarrassing truths about you. Every piece in this poetry book is as beautifully written as the lies that society brings daily to our table.

"You may want to know, Fuski." Said the young boy, his voice cracked from emotions. "Listen. We don't have any time for that! You need to get to those goddamn doors and save Kat!" The voice of the angry teen softly dropped as Skyes opened his mouth. "She's. Dead."

He is seen by the world as calm, composed, even flawless. But beneath the carefully constructed surface lies a mind full of shadows, secrets, and fragments of truths he will never reveal. In the bustling city, he moves among strangers with a grace that conceals as much as it reveals, letting the world see only what he allows. Snow-white Darkness is a man of contradictions - luminous in presence, yet shrouded in mystery. Every interaction, every glance, every smile is a piece of a puzzle that no one can complete. And yet, something - a fleeting connection, a challenge to his guarded self - threatens to unravel the boundaries he has so meticulously built. In a modern world obsessed with appearances, where trust is currency and vulnerability a risk, he navigates life like a silent observer, questioning the line between what is shown and what is hidden. Fragments of a Silent Mind is a haunting journey into the depths of identity, the power of secrecy, and the delicate dance between the self we display and the self we protect.

If @XsyashiasX hasn't lost them already. And I get it, I mean... marbles can be extremely hard to relocate. I mean, they're small and often times transparent so once you find one, suddenly you're neglecting the possibility that there are others around it, therefore stepping on ANOTHER one, rolling your ankle as it rolls away, probably under who knows where in your house, and then you will have lost them AGAIN. Tough shit, really. I had some marbles before when I was really young and I lost them. Probably explains why I'm lunatic enough to write this book. And maybe... JUST maybe.... You're MORE lunatic than me if you choose to read this. 😜 (Also, did you notice the marble print for the cover? That was on purpose.)
