This is an experimental piece written from the perspective of a schizoid manic depressive's hallucination. It is based on what I feel lurks over my shoulder every moment of every day.

Not only are they awake at night, but even the day. Hiding in your house, watching your every move. Their dying souls inhabit the dolls and pictures you own. Their hidden in the depth of your closet. They don't let anyone see them, but they see you. Their demonic souls sit on your bed while you sleep. You don't know they are there but you feel their ghostly presence. And as soon as the tenth year struck's- you're theirs. Caroline Danvers knew that something was inside her old Victorian house. She feels that something has been watching her for about the past 10 years. She just doesn't know what it is. Every second that she's there, she doesn't feel safe. Her mother never believed her and thought Caroline was schizophrenic. But Caroline knows the truth, there's evil lurking in her house, and it just might get her.

My luck was going to run out soon enough. I knew that from a young age. I'd be in the mental home with all of the crazy people who claim to see things. I'd already knew. I just didn't know death wanted me going insane at such a young age.
