Gris is a story about a love that never really ended, even when life forced two people apart. Years later, Taehyung finds himself in Paris. A city of his dreams, a city that should have been just another stop, becomes the place where he meets Seokjin again. Through Taehyung's life as it is now, Gris slowly unravels a story of regret, healing, and the question of whether love can survive time, fear, and all the mistakes in between. This is not a perfect love story. It is a story about longing, choices, and the fragile hope of finding your way back to the person who once felt like home. Some people never stop being home. The question is... can love survive what time, distance, and choices did to it? Sequel to Bleu.

Shoutout to @Lyn_67 for being encouraging, appreciating my story, and offering an idea for this narrative. I hope this one meets your expectations. ------------------------------------------------------- Prologue Before Paris Every love story looks inevitable in retrospect. People like to imagine that meaningful moments announce themselves-that fate arrives with certainty, that beginnings feel extraordinary while they are happening. But most real beginnings are quiet. They happen on ordinary days, inside ordinary decisions, while people are too busy living to realize their lives are changing. Before Paris, there were two people who had built lives many would envy. Kim Taehyung had spent years moving from schedule to schedule, stage to stage, becoming someone recognized everywhere he went. Success had become routine. Applause had become familiar. Yet somewhere beneath the performances and expectations, he began wondering something he had avoided for years: who was he when nobody needed him to be BTS's V? Far away, Lin Xiaoran lived a different version of the same life. Her world was filled with cameras, scripts, promotions, and constant visibility. She became different people for a living, but sometimes wondered whether she had become too good at appearing fine. Her life was full, successful, and strangely lonely. Neither was searching for love. One wanted quiet. The other simply wanted to breathe. Neither knew that a city they had chosen for entirely different reasons would change everything. Because this story did not begin with a confession. Or a kiss. Or certainty. It began with a bridge. A gust of wind. Scattered pages. And two people who did not yet realize they were about to become each other's favorite place to return to.

"JANJI KARET DI BAWAH POHON CHESTNUT"* 10 tahun lalu, di Taman Luxembourg, Paris. Janji?"_ Élise Marie Dubois menganggap itu hanya permainan. Sampai 3 hari kemudian, keluarga de Montclair pindah ke Vienna tanpa pamit. Meninggalkan Élise... dan janji itu. Kini 10 tahun berlalu. Élise sudah dewasa dan bekerja di perusahaan arsitektur milik keluarganya. Hidupnya tenang. Sampai sebuah amplop emas datang. _The Engagement of Antoine Louis de Montclair & Geneviève Laurent_ Antoine. Nama yang ia kubur dalam-dalam. Kini berdiri di hadapannya lagi. Lebih tinggi. Lebih dingin. Lebih sempurna. Sebagai CEO muda dari konglomerat de Montclair. Dan sebagai tunangan orang lain. "Mademoiselle Dubois," katanya datar saat mereka bertemu. "Senang bertemu." Dingin. Formal. Seolah mereka orang asing.

Paris, 1931. In the busiest train station in France, where steam curls through iron arches and clocks rule the rhythm of every life, two souls meet in the quiet spaces between departures. Avi Cabret, the orphaned clockmaker of Gare de Montreuil, keeps the station running with steady hands and a lonely heart. Hidden away in his tiny apartment above the clock tower, he believes time is the only thing he can trust-until a new bookstore opens on Platform 3. Sarah Lebuse, an aspiring author with ink‑stained fingers and dreams bigger than Paris itself, arrives with her protective father and younger brother to start her future at La Plume Enchantée. She carries grief from the war, pressure from her family, and a secret hope for something more. When Avi helps her hang a crooked sign on her first morning, a gentle friendship begins-one built on shared pastries, midnight repairs, whispered chapters, and the soft ticking of clocks. But in a city of expectations and old wounds, their growing bond is tested by Sarah's father, Avi's past, and the fragile dreams they're both afraid to chase. A slow‑burn romance inspired by Hugo and classic French love stories, The Clockmaker & The Bookshop Girl follows Avi and Sarah through quiet dawns, storm‑lit nights, and the tender moments that change everything. As spring blooms across Paris, they discover that time doesn't just move forward-sometimes it slows down for the right person. A story about healing, hope, and the kind of love that feels like rediscovered time.

They say some friendships are written in the stars - Ahn Keonho and Eom Seonghyeon were written in something older than that. Five years old when the world decided they belonged in each other's orbit. Two decades of shared lunches, matching laughs, and a bond that made strangers call them twins without ever knowing the truth. One swam through water to find peace. The other chased a ball across grass to feel alive. Different souls, same heartbeat. One month apart in age, a lifetime together in everything else. Keonho has always looked up to Seonghyeon - quietly, without ceremony, the way you look up at the sky. Whatever Seonghyeon loved, he found himself loving too. Same favorites, same instincts, same silences that needed no translation. It was never imitation. It was devotion dressed in the language of friendship. They have fought. Keonho wrote every rupture in his diary - ink pressed harder when the hurt was deeper - but they always found their way back. Because some things are too important to let pride swallow whole. Then Han Sena walked in. Not loudly. Not like a warning. She arrived the way beautiful disasters always do - softly, sketchbook in hand, charcoal smudged at her wrist, eyes that saw the world in shapes and shadows before she saw it in words. An art major who turned ordinary corners of campus into something worth staring at. Pretty wasn't the right word for her. Pretty was too small. She meets Keonho first. Falls first, the way you fall when you aren't looking - unexpectedly, completely, with no graceful landing in sight. But fate, it seems, has a longer plan. Because Sena's story doesn't end where it begins. And Seonghyeon - his best friend, his brother, the boy who shares his face in people's eyes but not his blood - will become something she didn't see coming either. One girl. Two boys who would never want to hurt each other. A love triangle that doesn't ask permission before it breaks things.
