Rankings 😍 # 43 in lgbt fiction # 1 in patriarchy Keng and Namping never chose each other. Their marriage was nothing more than a carefully crafted business alliance-two powerful families merging empires, not hearts. Namping enters the household expecting at least a little care, a little warmth... but Keng keeps reminding him that their marriage is "just duty," nothing more. Yet as days turn into nights, Keng begins to notice the things he was never supposed to: the way Namping stands silently behind him at family dinners, the way he flinches when scolded for breaking a rule he never knew, the way he hides his loneliness behind a polite smile. Slowly-dangerously-Keng starts to question the traditions he grew up obeying. Slowly, he starts falling for the boy he was never meant to love. But in a family where loyalty is law and emotions are weakness, loving Namping might cost Keng everything... including him.

Clarke Griffin and her crew are the first to find land west, across the Big Sea. What she doesn't expect to find is another civilization, with a religion so different to her own and a society that makes her skin shiver. In that society, Lexa is a monster. When her skin tears open, she bleeds black, and what else could that be but sinful? Not everything is always truthful, though. Sometimes monsters are just humans other humans are afraid of. And sometimes, monsters set everything aflame. Sometimes, when you cage them in too much, they tear everything apart. How much damage could a group of delinquents and a few social outcasts possibly do? (The world will burn in their wake until they will forge a new one. And their hearts will too, but perhaps that's a sweeter kind of damage.) ____________ also on ao3, same title and username :)

A collection of poems written from the mouth of a woman at her breaking point, a voice carved sharp enough to slice through patriarchy itself. These pieces explore the anger, exhaustion, defiance, and cold clarity that rise when women are expected to shrink and men are expected to tower. Here, the speaker confronts the men who hide behind entitlement, excuses, and inherited power. Here, she names the systems that made them and the wounds they left behind. Here, she becomes the storm they never learned to weather. Not a love letter. Not an apology. A testament to the woman who finally stopped forgiving.

she was a scattered palette filled with every colour and he was the calm painter who envisioned the whole world through her on his canvas. A tale set in the late 1800s, India when feminism was a taboo while patriarchy and misogyny was a norm. Labanya, an eight year old girl who was a little too curious for her age and gender was tied to Rudrajit, an eleven year old boy who was a bit too composed and soft for his age and gender by the sacred bond of marriage. What would this marriage bring about in the lives of these young souls who were yet to discover their own selves? N.B - This story revolves not only around the romance between the two main character but also focuses on the important aspects and lessons that one could learn from this story by living through the characters and their mindsets while also getting to know about the very different environment of those time. I do not intend to impersonate or resemble any real personalities through my story as it's purely my imagination. Mention of real places and a few historic personalities are there just to add depth to the story and make it realistic.

OLD AND WILL LIKELY NOT BE CONTINUED, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK (of disappointment) This is most definitely an almost crack fic, but oh my god is it fun. I guess that's probably a great description of the Barbie Movie in general- In this fic, you are a lost Barbie- you live in the human part of the world, but you are a Barbie- not that you're aware of it. One day you're walking to work when you see a commotion. It's a group of people making fun of some people dressed INCREDIBLY boldly, colour wise, skating through the streets. As a secret lover of bright colours yourself, you loved to see some people happy to embrace it, and decided to go say hi, maybe brighten their days a little after being ridiculed. Little did you know, that simple decision was about to change your life forever.

Extended universe short story from the 9th Arm. Women do not expire. Men are not natural leaders. Patriarchy is a cultural malfunction. A broken nose is the least painful thing in this story. Currently ranked #3 in Women's Rights and #2 in Patriarchy with fewer than 20 reads. If that doesn't tell you something about society, I don't know what will.

π“Œπ“π“ŒπŸ–€ Eveilynn Mary Astor or 'eve', Even if the young lady belonged to a powerful and wealthy family, she had no power of her own. And that was just the norm of the women in the 19th century. But nothing could stop her from her 𝘴𝘀𝘒𝘯π˜₯𝘒𝘭𝘰𝘢𝘴 thoughts about independence. To the naked eye she was the most perfect young lady, beautiful, polite and kind. She was the honour of the nobles. Yet when someone got to know about her bold thoughts, the girl was in complete dismay. Worried about losing her hard earned dignity in this world ruled by men. Her saviour? The very same someone who got to know about her true self, π•·π–Žπ–‘π–Žπ–™π–. ⚠️⚠️⚠️ _________________________________________________________ Despite this story being set in early 1800s, this piece isn't exactly period appropriate. The author kept 1800s natural charm, but some unrealistic things may take place without consequences. _________________________________________________________
