This collection of 50 poems is my tribute and celebration of the my country , The Philippines. A beautiful and verdant country and its ever resilient people. To be honest my liking of poetry has been tempered by events in my life especially my health. My job had also taken a toll of my mental powers. But upon seeing the happenings of my country and watching videos admiring how great and resilient the people of the Philippines is, I decided why not make a poetry collection about my country. The greatness and the flaws of my beloved Philippines. And so this poetry collection was created to give tribute to my country, The pearl of the orient, may she weather any storm and be resilient for all eternity. Abigail, Hannah and Chrissy are time travelers for a living. They work for a secret agency to monitor time to make sure not events are changed. Join them as they go back to the American Revolution. Once there they meet interesting characters and do end up changing quite a few things. Most of this probably will not be historically accurate. Please do not complain or say I am wrong. This is just a story not real life so let it be.

ENTRY FOR _ONCE_UPON 2018 HOLIDAYS CONTEST FIRST PLACE WINNER This story is based off of two dolls I had as a child. Felicity Merriman and Elizabeth Cole from the 'American Girl Doll' company. They were physical dolls that had a historical book series that they were placed in. In this short story, ten year old me travels back into their story time to experience their trials with them.

How I describe a hero by multitude layer of perspective

A man-made island is constructed, for solely one purpose, the experimentation of a perfect nation. However, miscalculations are always in place of plans. Now that the island is in separate existence from the other countries, totalitarian would be the correct terminology to categorize what kind of leadership this area has. Injustice runs around. Chasing Vagrants in the slums and the central. In this Dystopia, The Exceeds, the system. The Unlabeled, the pawns of power. The Vagrants, the lowest of the lowest. As it may be, the 'ranking' does not stop there. Up above the top of the food chain, aren't the Exceeds and it isn't the tyrannical Head as well, all of the three rankings are but puppets. The Head of the land is just a front line―the area is controlled by what they call The Conductor, the organizer to every darkness lurking in the light, the shadow thriving criminal advisor in the underworld. Although that is not all, if you think that all hope is lost, then think again. I have been investigating about The Conductor as I first stumbled upon a case connected to him.
