Her generosity of spirit inspires his own and he vows to be for her what she is for everyone else. A winter storm is coming, bringing with it an ex-girlfriend with plans of her own. The storm threatens the magic of Christmas and the ex-girlfriend is ready to do whatever it takes to win Michael back. Michael and Eileen must both find a way to save Christmas and the tenuous beginnings of a love that comes along just once in a lifetime. He becomes more outspoken, engaged, and confident. And his positive changes inspire changes in those around him. However, not everyone is thrilled with Tate's newfound confidence. Ali, the bar's prickly lone waitress, has a bone to pick with Tate.
