This is a story about a girl wanting to find something better than her home town, she wants to get out of the ordinary 1950s life style after they move to Australia as imagrants from Italy. Her Mother is a perfect housewife with her perfect, immaculate haircut with her prize-winning rose bushes. Her Father is a doctor and qualified surgeon with a Doctor of Medicine (MD), Bachelor of Medicine, and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Her older brother Steven was 19 years old, hadn't moved out of home yet while there parents nagged him to "Get a haircut, get a real job and move out" he wanted to be someone but to there parents that was never good enough, be "Simple and plain like everyone else they all live happy lives after they settle down" Yeah, that was just another way of saying we're all the same so don't be different. Victoria was her younger sister, 15 years old, had short shoulder length brown hair and was the exact spitting image of her Mum and had inherited the same attitude too. Then there was the mystery girl... The outsider... Will she settle in and choose the boring life style everyone else seemed destined to? Or will she finally find the people she has been looking for?

I thought I knew our world better. Such a thought quickly made her feel lied to, or at the very least deceived. Peculiar America, a land without rules, plenty of violence, and gang leaders instead of ymbrynes. How had WWII been easier to navigate? Despite her giving nature Aurora can't help but feel pushed to her breaking point, then guilty for wanting a way out. She should be wanting to help shouldn't she? Instead she finds herself resenting the journey she finds herself on, and fears her life is finally spiraling out of control. And even Millard is at a loss at what to do to help. Soon they both have the same horrible thought: What are the odds they will both survive such dangers twice? Mathematically speaking, not good.

DISCONTINUED This is the story of Abraham Ezra Portman who is from the book series Miss Peregrines home for peculiar children. I am telling his story from when he was age 12 and got sent from Poland to the small Island In Wales, UK. I have included photographs at the top of every chapter, similar to in the books. I am telling it in his perspective, trying to stick to the facts as much a possible, please tell me if I have missed anything out or got something wrong and I will edit it! Highschool - every teenager's kingdom or worst nightmare. For Thomas it was the latter. It wasn't just because of the usual high school drama, with the bad boys making bets to make Miss Good girl fall for them. Or the casual tripping in the hallway. Thomas was different, he was special or weird, depends on what you want to call him, but he was one thing for sure...he was peculiar.

As I opened my eyes, I knew it was over. I was covered head to toe in wires in every place imaginable. I tried to move but failed. It seemed if all the muscles in my body had fallen asleep. I tried to scream but there was this kind of tube that had stolen my voice. I looked next to me and saw a boy with light brown hair looking at me frightened.

Sometimes we wish we could see the future , but then we wonder if we could handle the truth . We are those " lucky " children . We are those whom stars cannot contain , whom walls cannot imprison . Our future is not something you may claim to predict , nor it is as repetitive as a the daily lives of whom were at some point our families . All we had to do was ... Find a crack . Having a third eye made it quite effortless for Fay to understand humans. Up until she was finally released from the place she was held in, forced to meet a completely fresh environment and trying her best in not attaching too much.
