(HeartSync Files #1) Pending. That's what the HeartSync beta tester app called it when Aria Soleil Tan accidentally got matched with Sebastian Caelum Vale, the campus basketball star, shameless charmer, and the absolute last person she thought she'd be stuck with. The glitch would've been bad enough, turning their pending status (and private chats) into the campus' newest meme material. But when their Media Comms II professor pairs them for a semester-long project, Sol realizes Seb isn't just in her notifications. He's in her group calls, her calendar, and her head. Now, every meeting, every edit session, every joke that lingers a little too long is happening under the entire school's watch. And somewhere between deadlines and distractions, "pending" starts to feel less and less temporary.
