"How much longer are you going to run from me?" He says. I stiffen. "Graham, don't." I grit. My jaw is clenched tight. He paces in front of me. Only one emotion radiates from him. Frustration. "I know what your problem is." He pauses. " You're afraid," He stops in front of me. "Afraid that when you're with me you'll forget about him." His face whips to the left and my hand stings from the contact. "You know nothing about my marriage," I growl. He leans in. "Baby I know everything." He whispers. *** Diana is frustrated. In more ways than one. She lost a patient. She chipped a toenail. She's 28 with no plans of children. Her husband is never home. She walked in on her boss cheating on his wife with a male nurse. She hasn't had sex in a year. She is in love. Graham is good. In more ways than two. He is a good doctor. He is a good businessman. He has a good girlfriend. His life is good but repetitive and boring. Graham Lasky is an executive director for Mercer... ▪¤□¤▪ Further summary in story.

This book talks about the lack of people of colour in our textbooks, learning resources, and educational facilities. This is an educational book will highlight the misconceptions of what a good education is and will hopefully create a wave of change in our educational resources particularly textbooks. As a child in a classroom, my first feeling was of alienation. My first identity was of an outsider. My first taste was the sourness of marginalisation. My first glance at the world was of an excluding intellectual circle. My first sound was of an explosion of questions about my roots and culture. My first thoughts were of being dominated by someone stronger than me. That someone turns out to be a system. Our educational system in Europe, Australasia and the Americas. At this point, I've seen so many old white guys' work in my classes that it's a safe assumption that whoever did this work I'm studying was an old white guy. I hate that I make that assumption. I hate that I don't hear about the rich, fullness of other cultures and the wonderful, WONDERFUL work they have done. Given that whites make up a minority of the world, they are the majority of people I have learned about in school. This is not limited to the topic of English, science and mathematics, but does include white people's history, geographical countries. Whites are not the only civilized thinkers of the world, and definitely not the only ones to work in our intellectual circles. Even when you bring up the work of a person of colour (POC) or woman, a bio is never mentioned.

Elria has been at peace for centuries, but creatures of darkness have always lurked in the background, waxing and waning with the rise and fall of empires and demigods, divine children who came of age when the world needs them the most. Darkness is rising again, and only a new crop of demigods can stop it. Contains some 18+ chapters!

After lengthy debates with myself, I have decided. Someone's gotta do it sooner or later, and I thought-why don't I just get to it? I'll be the one to shine the spotlight on all these issues we've seen so far in 2018. I mean...it'll be fun...right? Reading this book guarantees a lot of opinions, facts, and definitely a lot of sass. Beware anyone who reads this book, cause things are just getting started. I've decided.... It's time to talk.

Our story begins in Belzec, a country at war with one of its neighbors, Asca. Belzec is home to two races, the Eres and the Latros. The Eres are the superior race, while the Latros are the inferior ones. The Eres live a better life. There are more advanced, with better technology, more rights for their people and better services. Their children have better education and grow up to be scientists, researchers or doctors to help with the war. The Latros are the ones who bear the brunt of the war. They are the most unprotected, with little food and low quality of education. They do the most labor intensive work and have little to show for it. However, the Latros know that they deserve this hardship. They have to earn their place in the country and their suffering helps to build character, like the one the Eres have. Until one day, when the Eres decide to open up Camp Belzec. A camp for the model Latros citizen. A place for them to lead a better life since they have been role models for their countrymen. A life of more comfort, with food, protection, and opportunities. They deserved this. Or so they all thought.

I am ugly. We all are, but even monsters seek comfort and love. Even witches yearn for a place to call home free from the threat of burning at a stake. And even vampires ponder how the Sun feels. Tell me then, is it wrong that we tell our stories?
