Jake Peralta has never been one for his father's little side business of marrying off his kids for money. But it's just what he does. No matter who Roger has tried to set him up with, no matter how much the money, he refuses. He's seen some of his brothers married off as well, the girls' fathers hoping to settle them down. But not him, and it never will be. Amy Santiago didn't even think that arranged marriages still happened in America. She was wrong. After her wealthy father falls into debt, he gets a proposal, for his daughter to marry Hunter Peralta in exchange for money and for Amy to have a stable life no matter what. Victor Santiago takes the deal, only wanting what's best for his daughter. She doesn't see it that way. - - - "The contract states that she has to marry a Peralta right? It never states a certain one?" Jake interrupts whatever their fathers were talking about. "What are you getting at Jake?" His dad asks. "You've always wanted me to be set up with someone, I want to marry her."

It seemed to be an open and shut case of larceny. Get back the poor guy's stolen necklace, simple, right? Things turn out to be a bit more complicated when said guy is murdered a couple days later, and the necklace in question is sought after by some of the most dangerous crime families in the USA. The FBI appoints the Nine-Nine to track down this necklace and help take down the criminal organizations that are after it as well, leading them on a cross-country chase down. Also, a lot of Peraltiago because I mean come on.

Mac's first day of kindergarten (Everyone's POV)

After weeks of working one gruelling drug case, Jake finally gets a lead that can get him to one of the biggest suppliers in the city. However when the bust goes sideways, Jake ends up disappearing into thin air, his badge and gun discarded on the road and his radio smashed into thousands of pieces. After a year of searching, the nine-nine are still unable to find the missing detective and Amy, as well as the other detectives on that case, start to believe he's dead. By some miracle, however, one year after the detective goes missing, he shows up randomly in the precinct to report a crime. The one problem, he doesn't recognise the building or anyone inside of it. He doesn't even recognise his own name. (Cross-posted on AO3 under the same name)

Most of them will probably be friendships, since a) the friendships on that show are seriously amazing, and b) the only relationship I truly root for in the show is Jake and Amy so....
