This should be a simple solution to a simple problem but I ended up a little to invested in one girl. The top girl of our grade, probably our whole city. She fascinates me. Why is she so perfect?

What is perfection? Can anything truly be perfect? In this twisted tale, Caroline will find out. She awakes in her home, unknowing that things aren't quite what they seem. Will she learn the truth about what has changed in her hometown, Greytown? Will she realize what's happening in time to save herself and her friends? Warning: Death, suicide, abuse, and language.

Like the gleaming pieces of precious metal they are, they are flawless, radiant, the very embodiment of perfection. The Ordinaries. People like you and me. They are normal, and hence the name: ordinary. As vast as the sea, they are silver coins, those who have not yet achieved perfection. The Coppers. Copper coins oxidize as time moves on, slowly losing their luster, their worth, their ability to shine. Finally, they are worth the least. These are the ones who failed to forge an identity. Those who fail work their lives away to support society. That is their only purpose. "Nothingness" is where the Mistakes go after they have finished their term. And if they don't? Well, I suppose this is why this journal was made. This world is not fueled by greed, wealth, power, or beauty. The only thing that will guarantee your survival is...
