Persephone is the new goddess on campus at Olympus University. She has big dreams of studying botany, making new friends, and getting out from under her mother Demeter's overprotective thumb.
The semester is off to a good start, until she meets the dean of the Underworld Business School, Hades himself. Strange things happen to Persephone when Hades enters her life, and she finds she can't control her botanical magic when he is around. From her sheltered life at her home in The Vale, Persephone adjusts to college life by pledging a cut-throat harpy sorority, making mortal and godling friends, and trying to stay off the digital front pages of Hermes' gossip column. But as her powers continue to grow, Persephone knows the only way to survive at Olympus U is to keep Hades far, far away from her.
As for Hades? He may have just met his match in Persephone and her mysterious powers. Relegated to the halls of the Underworld Business School, Hades grudgingly acts as dean at the order of his older brother and boss, Zeus. But Hades has a problem. There are forces lurking far below Olympus U-in Hades' underground kingdom-and a creature is about to awaken. The flames are licking at his back, and Hades needs to find the key to saving himself, the university, and a daughter of prophecy.
There's just one problem. Both Hades and Persephone can't seem to stay away from each other. The closer they become, the less control the goddess of spring has over her powers. As the flowers and flames draw nearer, all of Olympus University may be at stake.
