An entire family of people who are lost in their own mind, creating catastrophic situations for themselves and others. A group of people wounded so deeply, that they are now stuck in a torturous loop of causing undeniable pain to others in an attempt to heal what is broken - and they don't even realize the severity of the long-term suffering surrounding them. A broken home that erupted from the cycle of the many generations who came before. An evil gene planted deep into the families bloodstream and hidden without understanding, and without base knowledge of a solution. A story told through the eldest child's empathetic eyes - a set of eyes that also looks into those of each individual trapped in the psychological prison. Digging deep in an attempt to see all perspectives of the pain. The story of a family tragedy - told through journal entries, conversations, brief writings, quotes, short poems, meaningful metaphors, real time realizations, consistent timeline jumps, and an attempt at empathetic and deep psychological understandings.

Throughout this poem collection, I chart a painful descent from the chaotic, dizzying heights of infatuation into the quiet, hollow reality of self-deprecating loneliness and grapple with the agonizing friction between an overwhelming desire for deep connection and a protective instinct to retreat. Ultimately, the poems serve as a raw confession of vulnerability, capturing the exhaustive toll of putting others first, feeling misunderstood or valued only for utility, and patiently waiting on the margins of life for a breakthrough that feels devastatingly out of reach.

We all heard about Memento mori which means remember that you die, but apparently a more optimistic view over life also existed. Memento vivere- remember to live.

Just a few short stories for the insomniacs who love sad and scary stories

This story doesn't exactly follow the webtoon, Lore Olympus itself. It does show different perspectives of Hades' and Persephone's relationship or how I see their relationship.

Heize sees in color. While New York City, the city where she grew up in, feels like a mix of vibrant primary colors to create a plethora of hues, Seoul, the city she is forced to relocate, feels like a grey monochromatic palette. However, in the midst of the drastic changes in her life, Heize is able to find solace in a bustling night-life sector in the middle of Seoul called Hongdae, where she also meets Denzel who is able to change her perspective on her life in Seoul. This is (hopefully) a heart-wrenching, but at the same time a light and entertaining novella that addresses the complexities of growing up and seeds hope in young adolescents and adults to see the world for the beauty it contains.
