Nox had gone to all the shelters and reputable spots to find a pet human. Not just any pet human, a service human. One that could help him when his old war injuries made it impossible to do something. One that could fetch his medicine, or sit with him if he was having a flashback, or just to be company on a good day. Each piece shows a different part of what dogs are: their nature, their loyalty, their differences, and the simple joy they carry. The cycle treats a dog not as a symbol, but as a real companion who stays close, waits, listens, and gives love without asking for anything in return. This is a short, honest look at a life shared with a dog. A life made warmer by his presence, and remembered long after he is gone.
