They say delinquents are harsh, unforgivable. Devilish and careless. And you'd be right, especially when it comes to Dan Howell. The entire school live in fear of this Year 11 student, who can seemingly do whatever he wants because he's just that dangerous. However, there is that one person who doesn't cower to the side of the corridor when the delinquent walks passed - Phil Lester. The school's Head Boy - happy, confident. Has his entire life at his feet. The two have never really gotten along, Dan being so mischievous that it always annoyed Phil. After years of tension between the two opposites though, something in Dan's attitude has changed, him going from class clown to dangerous delinquent over the summer before their final year in high school - and he's definitely caught Phil's curious eye now. Phil sees something new in the delinquent, a secret side that no one thought existed in Dan. So what could possibly happen if they genuinely tried to get to know each other? TWO ENDINGS: Happy End or Dead End?

Phil is awakened at 2 A.M. by a mysterious crash coming from his kitchen. His first thought? An intruder has come to murder him in his sleep. When he creeps downstairs to investigate, however, the man he encounters does not seem to be the malicious criminal he imagined. A million questions swirl around in Phil's head as he tries to solve the mystery of the tall, curly-haired stranger who has shown up in the dead of night. Who is this man? Where did he come from? Why is he here? What is he hiding? When will Phil find out the truth? As Phil begins to grapple with conflicting emotions and Dan struggles with the reality of his past, they both slowly learn to open up to each other and come to terms with their true feelings. Warning: This story contains strong language, detailed violence, and smut.

! this is a continuation/part 2 of my other fanfic called scarred, read that first (or don't, I can't control you) ! "Maybe we'll meet later in life, under better circumstances. We're soulmates after all." Almost 8 years later, Phil is a struggling author who works a boring desk job and has recently moved. Dan is a worker at a small coffee shop by day and a drug dealer by night, struggling to get by. They've somehow managed to move past their little teenage drama and Phil has been focused on graduating university and Dan has been focused on surviving. What will happen when their paths cross once again?
