There are so many baseball players in the world. But there is one baseball player who has worked hard towards who he is today. Meet Jason Pace, age twenty-four, the youngest baseball pitcher in the MLB. The fastest thrower at a 100MPH fastball. Ever since he was five years old, Jason had a father who he had been raised by until he turned eighteen and going off to college, they'd spend time together playing baseball. Jason wanted to become something special for his family. So one day, God had a plan. When Jason is selected to play in the MLB-his parents always knew that God had bigger plans for their son. Until about six months into his career, Jason's life is turned to the worse.
He is diagnosed with a heart condition that could jeopardize his career forever. But he always had faith in his Heavenly Father. Jason grew up to do something good, by honoring God by playing his favorite sport. Now as his health declines, will Jason be able to continue to play. All he needs to do is to pray and to keep his faith alive. In God's glory, Jason is not only playing for his fans, his coach, and his teammates, he is honoring the Lord's sacrifice in his career. Maybe God is using Jason to test his faith and he is only just beginning to see it. Growing up as a Christian, Jason knew that one day God will use him as a testimony. And that is exactly why Jason will not give up on playing baseball-because even though Jason got sick, God's plan is so much better than what his health has been since after six months of playing baseball.
