As someone who was a fan back when the first chapter dropped (drifted a bit when the brainrot stuff came out), BUT came back and relearned all the lore and learning more lore I have also done research. The prototype is NOT a child, it was confirmed. I will provide evidence in the prologue, and in the prologue I need people to give their opinions and what they want added to the story 👍

I was inspired by Chapter 5 of Poppy Playtime to make this story (specifically the memories). The book will take the POVs of the many children turned into monsters and end with The Hour of Joy (With a possible epilogue). I hope you enjoy it! (Some tags aren't accurate yet, but will be as I add more chapters. I just wanted to put them there all at once)

A 17 year old female who lost her childhood at a young age, A girl who was born before the Great Depression but had to live through it 1929-1939, 10 years, It's 1940 and she sees a building being built and constructed with a mid twenties aged man with a cage that has a mechanical body inside.

Niza Everly is a quiet, gentle child living in the orphan wing of Playtime Co. She is small for her age, with warm brown skin and wide, thoughtful eyes that seem to hold more questions than answers. Her dark hair is usually styled in soft puffs or neat braids, though it often loosens by the end of the day. She prefers oversized sweaters and worn tights from the donation bin, finding comfort in fabric that feels soft and familiar. Always tucked under her arm is her most treasured possession--a slightly faded plush named Catnap, stitched carefully at the seams and missing a bit of stuffing in one paw. She treats the plush like a trusted friend, whispering her worries into its fabric when the nights grow too quiet. Niza is shy but observant. She notices things others don't--the flicker of hallway lights, the way the factory hum changes at night, the subtle creak of floorboards. Loud noises make her flinch, but she tries to be brave, especially around younger children. She offers them her blanket during naps and shares the last of her snacks without hesitation. Despite everything, Niza carries a soft hope in her heart. She dreams of being adopted--of having someone call her name with warmth instead of roll call. Her greatest wish isn't toys or treats. It's to belong.

This is my first Poppy Playtime book. So, in this, the player is gonna be a child, specifically a teenager wandering around the factory. They were abandoned by their parents. They run into the toys while wandering around, and the toys take them in as their own. I will probably not include the Prototype or the Doctor because they're evil. I will include Huggy Wuggy, Poppy, Mommy Long Legs, Kissy Missy, Bunzo Bunny, Mini Huggies, PJ Pugapillar, Boxy Boo, Smiling Critters, Frowning Critters, Doey the Doughman, Yarnaby and Nightmare Critters. I'm not adding every single Poppy Playtime character, only the ones that Player interacts with in the game mostly. Anyway, more about the player's personality in this story. They were abandoned by their parents, so they have abandonment issues and trust issues. The player is gonna be at least 16 years old, and they're gonna be going to school. The toys will also be able to turn into humans, considering they're experiments. For Doey, since he's made of three people, his personalities are gonna represent the colors of dough he's made out of. Yellow means Jack, Orange means Matthew and Red means Kevin. As a reminder about Doey's Personalities for those of you who haven't played the game or watched the game being played, Jack is the innocent and childish personality, Matthew is the mature and intelligent personality and Kevin is the angry, violent, and protective personality. When Doey turns into his human form, his personalities will separate. And for Smiling Critters, Frowning Critters, and Nightmare Critters, since most of the Critters are Male, they're all gonna be male, but their personalities won't change, don't worry. Also, I might make a Poppy Playtime boyfriend scenario book since there aren't a lot of them. Enjoy 🥰☺️😊. And one more thing, I will be taking certain requests, no inappropriate ones.
