Vampires and humans don't have children as they die in the womb and often take the mother with them. Human bodies just cant take it. However some make it through, in Harlyn's case it was cause her mother was a witch. She was powerful enough to use her magic to ensure the baby not only survived the pregnancy but also the childbirth, sadly she wasn't strong enough to save herself. Now it brings us to today, Harlyn is 17 and about to face the worst battle of her life and its no so supernatural. She has to chose, the vampire she loves but shouldnt or the one she wants to love but cant?
