Eu sempre quis ser escolhida. Nos amores, nas amizades, na vida. Tentei amar, confiei em promessas que não foram cumpridas e aprendi a gostar da minha própria companhia... embora ainda doa quando percebo que, para algumas pessoas, eu nunca fui a primeira opção. Quero seguir Deus mais do que qualquer coisa, mas nem sempre consigo manter o foco. Tenho medo do futuro, medo de amar outra vez, medo de criar expectativas e vê-las se transformarem em decepções. Ainda assim, continuo. Talvez eu não esteja perdida. Talvez eu só esteja no meio do caminho. E talvez, enquanto eu tento descobrir quem sou, Deus esteja escrevendo uma história que eu ainda não consigo entender. Porque algumas histórias precisam do silêncio antes de encontrarem o seu propósito.

un pequeño libro para alguien que en muy poco tiempo me demostró que aun existen personas que pueden amar y hacerte sentir muy querido y amado y que las películas de Disney pueden ser reales si tu lo propones como parafraseando a barbie "tu puedes ser lo que quieras ser"

This collection traces my journey through the fragile and tangled years of teenagehood. Through each poem, you would get a glimpse of raw and unfiltered moments of love, heartbreak, loss, confusion and even hints of clarity. The title is more than just a name : it is a metaphor of growth and acceptance . Each year, each experience was a petal unfolding . Some were soft like teenage innocence while others were jagged, stained with blood, weathered by heartbreak and resilient in reaching. Some were glowing red under the eternal sunlight of euphoria while others were withered due to the droughts of insecurity and floods of pent up emotions . But together these roses compose the bouquet of my becoming.
